Create a Checklist
If you’re a visual person or a list lover, this is the tip for you! Creating a visual representation of the clutter that you are wanting to organize or get rid of will help keep you on track and on top of the project. As you work through the items or rooms (or however you choose to organize your list) check them off and give yourself a pat on the back!
Do One Thing Each Day
Whether it’s a room a day, an item a day, or whatever makes sense to you, start by completing one decluttering task every day. Sometimes looking at all the things you need to declutter or organize can be daunting. Taking it one task at a time eliminates that stress and can give you milestones to celebrate along the way.

Choose a room or area of your home that you would like to declutter and take a before photo. Then, start decluttering the room, and once you’re finished take another photo of how it looks after. Now, you have an inspiring photo of how every room in your house could look if you keep going!
