Here at Chores, we want to share our top picks of things to do this Fall.

A walk on the beach.

The number one thing New Jersey is most popular for is our beaches! While you may not want to take a dip during the colder weather many don’t require beach badges or payment. So, pack a lunch or enjoy the boardwalk foods for a beautiful day at the Jersey shore beaches for free!

Seasonal hotels restaurants and entertainment are offering discounts.

Here is a link to help guide you to some fabulous food and entertainment while enjoying your days at the Jersey shore. One of our favorite things to do is spend the day at Avon beach. The houses that lead up to this family beach are pristine curb appeal. So, you really don’t mind the walk after parking your car but if you do, they also offer free transportation!

Enjoy the outdoors.

Although bike, walking/running paths are typically open year-round it is more favorable during warmer months April – November at the Jersey Shore. It might be your last chance to enjoy them for a while! Here are some great trails to go on. Some are more challenging than others while others have breathtaking views of nature. These trails are so adventurous. Recycling water bottles and light snacks are a must!

Avoid the cold and catch a show!

New Jersey offers some of the best shows on stage while enjoying the ambiance of some of the most beautiful theaters this state has to offer. Whether you are at the Spring Lake Community House or at Count Basie Center for the Arts you will be in awe of these towns and what they have to offer all year long.
