The first day of spring is fast approaching which means spring break is just around the corner too! Don’t let your household chores hold you back from missing out on so many of the things there are to do here at the Jersey Shore.
Here are some of our top picks of things to do this Spring and Summer.
- Amusement park tickets. There are typically many sales each spring on amusement park tickets that can save you quite a bit of money if you and/or your family like the rides and thrills that amusement parks have to offer. - One of our personal favorite things to do during the summer is to spend the day at Avon beach. The homes that lead up to this family friendly beach offer pristine curb appeal which makes the walk back to your car after spending the day at the beach very pleasant. Too tired to walk to your car after a long, lazy day in the sun? No worries! You can get free transportation here from Coastline Shuttles: https://www.facebook.com/CShuttlesNJ/
- Although bike and walking/running paths are typically opened year-round, it is especially great during the months of April – November. Here are some terrific trails to go on. While some are more challenging, there are others that are more scenic and offer breathtaking views of nature. https://blog.jerseyshoreinmotion.com/2015/04/best-places-to-run-walk-or-bike-at-the-jersey-shore/
- Canoe/kayak/paddle boarding/boat rentals are a perfect way to see so much of what the Jersey Shore has to offer while also keeping cool during the late spring and summer months. A refreshing dip while riding the rivers, reservoirs, and oceans can be very welcoming. And, although the water is still a bit chilly in April and early May, the sun can get hot so a quick dip even then can be great.
