It’s back to school time–not just for students, but for parents too. With the same busy schedule as you always have, you might not have the time to go back to school shopping.
Chores is here to help you with that. Simply hand us a list of the things your child needs for back to school, and we’ll go get it for you!
If you decide to tackle back to school shopping yourself, we’ve compiled a handy list for you to reference.
Styles are constantly changing, so be sure to listen to your child to see what’s in and treat them to some new clothes! Depending on the school, your child may have certain requirements they need to fulfill, such as certain sneakers for gym class or a collared shirt. Keep in mind some schools prohibit open-toe shoes, so be aware of what your school’s policy is when buying new shoes. Take them with you when you go and let them pick out what they need.
Go beyond just the basics. Freshen up your child’s wardrobe with some stylish accessories this fall. Whether it’s a belt, a hair clip, a brand new backpack, or some face masks, take inventory or what might be worn out from previous school years and stock up accordingly.
If you’re getting a new backpack, go for a high quality one that will last them for years. You can go a step further and buy organizing pouches for the backpack so it doesn’t turn into a cluttered mess.
Here’s where the bulk of the shopping is. Throughout the school year, things get broken, lost, used up, and worn down. If you feel like you just bought everything on this list last year, it’s probably because you did! It’s just a part of back to school shopping, so you might as well come prepared with a list of everything your child might need.
- Pencil box
- Hand Sanitizer
- Pencil sharpener
Of course, this all varies based on the grade your child is in and what the school provides, but don’t take any chances–it’s always better to have too many supplies than to not have enough.
